Benefits of Joining Blue Passport to History

The award winning Blue Passport to History Program is designed to “Bring History to Life” in Delaware County! This “user friendly’ interactive program is presented FREE of charge to all fourth and fifth graders in Delaware County and supplements the curriculum currently in place in public, private, parochial, cyber, charter and home schools. By enrolling students in Blue Passport to History you open a world of local history through free admission to participating sites, special tours, exhibits, hands-on programs, and an original theatrical production written exclusively for Passport to History!

Once you are enrolled, a Passport to History representative will speak directly to the students about how the program works. Each participant will receive a passport designed to resemble a U.S. travel passport) and a special map of Delaware County. Participants who earn 5 or more unique historical stamps in their passports receive a special award for completion of the project.

The program is not only designed to work in the “classroom” but also as a family fun project. We encourage the participant to take the program home by visiting participating sites with their families. Families are asked to create a project that highlights their experiences, while the participant collects their stamps!

It’s easy to join, just click here if you are with a school or here for home schooled students
