The Delaware County Historical Society, 991 Palmers Mill Road, Media, PA 19063 is proud to be one of the Donor Choice/
Write-in options with the United Way in Delaware County.
The Delaware County Historical Society created its Passport to History Program to Bring History to Life for children and their families across Delaware County. Students receive a passport and each time they visit an historic site they receive a stamp on their visa pages. Children who collect five stamps in a twelve month period will receive an award.
Participants visiting sites with their families can use their passports as a free admission ticket. Special events may have costs associated with them. Passport holders who visit an historic site on a school or group field trip may be required to pay a fee to cover the cost of educational programming. Adults and children without passports will be expected to pay admission fees, if any are charged.
Students enrolled through their schools will turn in their passports at the school in September and will receive their awards at a special school assembly. Children enrolled in the program through their families, scouts, or other groups need to mail their completed passports to the office to receive the Passport to History
prizes, and certificate.
